Flying Stars Feng Shui recognises that the earth energies change each year, coinciding with Chinese New Year.

The attached summary chart will give you some indication of what you can do to improve/protect your environment this year.

I use reference to the Five Elements so you can use colours and objects to provide cures, i.e.

EARTH: Yellow, ochre, orange. Bricks, clay, ceramics, terracotta. Square shapes.

WOOD: Green, brown. Plants, flowers, trees, wooden furniture. Rectangular shapes.

FIRE: Red, purple, pink. Candles, bright lights, triangular shapes.

METAL: White, silver, gold. Steel, copper, brass. Round shapes.

WATER: Blue, black, greys. Fish tanks, mirrors. Wavy shapes.

In addition to colours, there are various objects and symbols that are used in Feng Shui. You can reuse most of the cures from previous years, provided you cleanse and recharge them before repositioning them. (Wash them thoroughly and place in the sun for several hours.)

It is not necessary to have all such symbols, but the areas you consider important should be carefully looked at and suitable cures placed to enhance or protect yourself against the relevant energies.
