2022 Feng Shui Flying Stars
Happy 2022 - Year of the Tiger
You need to make your changes on 3 February 2022.
Feng Shui recognises that the earth energies change each year, coinciding with Chinese New Year.
2022 is a special year in that the Flying Stars return to their original locations in the Lo Pan square.
This means is that the energies are stronger. That is to say that the good and benevolent stars are twice as beneficial as they are in other years.
However it also means that the bad and malevolent stars are equally more powerfully damaging.
Flying Stars
The attached summary chart will give you some indication of what you can do to improve and protect your environment this year.
The Five Elements
I use reference to the Five Elements so you can use colours and objects to provide cures:
Earth
Yellow, ochre, orange. Bricks, tiles, clay, ceramics, terracotta. Square shapes
Wood
Green, brown, Plants, flowers, trees, wooden furniture. Rectangular shapes
Fire
Red, purple, pink, candles, bright lights, triangular shapes
Metal
White, silver, gold, Steel, copper, brass. Round shapes
Water
Blue, black, greys, fish tanks, mirrors. Wavy shapes.
What's happening in 2022?
Interestingly, because the Stars have returned to their original positions, there is more focus on encouraging the good although some blocking of the negative stars is still important.
In addition to colours there are various objects and symbols that are used in Feng Shui. You can reuse most of the cures from previous years provided you cleanse and recharge them before repositioning them.
Placing your cures
It is not necessary to have all such symbols, but the areas you consider important should be carefully looked at and suitable cures placed. This year pay particular attention to the North where the Three Killings (affecting health, wealth and happiness) are located especially if your bedroom, front door or other important area is located here.
Likewise you should always protect your self from the Grand Duke (located this year in the North East) by placing a Pi Yao in the South West sector facing Him in the opposite sector.
2022 will be a year of progression particularly technology, space travel etc and a much more positive outlook.
The Covid pandemic will continue so I'd be looking closely at the South West sector which is where the Illness Star is attacking from.
Similarly if Covid has had an impact on your finances over the past year, it would be worth increasing your cures in the North (where the Wealth star is coming from) to encourage financial recovery.
Every year there are positive and negative energies, this year is no different in that with Feng Shui you can encourage the good and block the bad.

Remember, the first rule of Feng Shui is that if it feels good, go with it, if it doesn't feel right then change it.
